In electronics manufacturing, the quality of products is of utmost importance, as faulty components can have serious consequences and cause high costs. Electronic components are used, for example, in the automotive industry, the energy sector, medicine, the aerospace industry, the lighting industry and the Internet of Things (IoT).
With In Circuit Testing (ICT), electronic components, printed circuit boards or complete printed circuit board panels can be tested for assembly, press-fit or soldering defects, and short circuits and interruptions as well as component errors and defects can be detected and sorted out during the production process. In Circuit Testing, predefined test points are contacted and tested with spring-loaded contact pins.
More efficiency through combination of test methods
At Pematech in Radolfzell, we offer test solutions that are integrated into a test and assembly line, enabling contacting of the electronic assembly, printed circuit boards and printed circuit board panels from all sides or even segment by segment in step mode.
Our test automation can also be used to combine different processes and test tasks. So it is possible to realize and combine with our test cells in your production line an In-Circuit-Testing as well as a Functional Test (FKT), an End of Line Test (EOL) or also an In-System-Programming (Flash-Programming).
